Deuteronomy 9:23-25

23 When Yahweh sent you from (A)Kadesh-barnea, saying, ‘(B)Go up and possess the land which I have given you,’ then you rebelled against the [a]command of Yahweh your God; (C)you did not believe Him, and you did not listen to His voice. 24 (D)You have been rebellious against Yahweh from the day I knew you.

25 “(E)So I fell down before Yahweh the forty days and the forty nights, which I [b]did because Yahweh had said He would destroy you.
